Making the film of a wedding in Piedmont gives pure magic. I had the pleasure to have this experience during Giada and Francesco’s most beautiful day. The two have celebrated the event in a dream-like location: the Principato Di Lucedio, in Trino (in the province of Vercelli), bordering the Alemarici lands of the Monferrato Casalese.
HOW GIADA AND FRANCESCO MET
“A long love story”, one of Gino Paoli’s most famous song could be the soundtrack of Giada and Francesco’s story. She is a radiologist; he is an occupational doctor. They met in the university classrooms nine years ago, when they started a path that brought them to celebrate their wedding in an unforgettable day.

While preparing, the two started looking for a professional who could take care of their wedding film in Piedmont.
Giada and Francesco found me through Google. After having looked at my works, they contacted me. My office is in Cava de’ Tirreni (in the province of Salerno), while the soon-to-be newlyweds live in Piedmont. Thus, we chose to have a videocall to get to know each other.
The meeting with the clients (whether in person or remotely depending on the case) is a fundamental passage that has always been a part of my method. It is the chat that I need to lay the groundwork to achieve the objective that I strive for everyday: to do an excellent work and satisfy my clients.
Obviously, my clients are benefited as well. I understand what they want from me, and the couple knows what I can give them.
VIDEO FOR A WEDDING IN PIEDMONT: AN ARABIAN NIGHTS-ESQUE LOCATION
The reception took place, as I wrote in the beginning, in an enchanting location, the Principato Di Lucedio. As can be read from the farm’s website, it is a “An enchanted place, outside of time and space…” and indeed that is the vibe that this place gives.
Lucedio has a nine-hundred-year-old history. It extends over 500 hectares inside a regional park. In 1123 the Cistercian monks founded an abbey, reclaimed the territory and introduced in Italy the rice cultivation in the first part of the 1400s.
Today, the Principato Di Lucedio is a successful farm with a very large area dedicated to events, such as meetings and weddings, and to rice cultivation, which is done with sustainable strategies.
The location allows the guests to taste a delicious cuisine and to lose themselves in the evocative countryside during any time of the year. A wonderful backdrop for a dream-like wedding.
THE DAY OF THE WEDDING AND THE USE OF THE DRONE
The reception of Giada and Francesco’s gave me the opportunity to do my job as a videomaker in Piedmont, a region that gives wonderful sights, like the one that hosted the event that I had the opportunity to film.
The wedding was deeply sober, elegant and intimate, perfectly coherent with the location in which it took place. It was so fascinating and great that I was faced with a challenge: to truly catch its beauty.
In the end I succeeded in this thanks to the use of the drone, a tool that gave me the opportunity to catch the beauty of this location in all of its excellence.

Making the film of a wedding in Piedmont was an amazing experience and I will never thank enough this wonderful couple for the fantastic opportunity that they gave me.
