“If you only knew how odd it is to feel in love in Milan”. I came back from the beautiful experience of being the videomaker for the wedding of Giorgia and Pierpaolo in Milan with the tune of this old song by Memo Remigi in my head.
The lyrics of the song reminded me of the love story of this wonderful couple that I had the privilege to follow in their happiest day.
FALLING IN LOVE IN MILAN: THE LOVE STORY OF GIORGIA AND PIERPAOLO
The best things are the unexpected ones, especially when the most important person for you lives just 200 meters away and it takes very little to suddenly change everything. This is the classic, somewhat common, beginning of the story of Pierpaolo and Giorgia
Like with every story, it starts with a phone number exchanged just for fun in a Milan evening, in the neighborhood bar, with the promise to see each other again, because the attraction is like this, it is uncontrollable, especially if the poles are totally the opposite. Two personalities as much different as similar deep down. She is sweet, dreamy, affectionate while he is cynical, a realist and a pragmatic.
Right after having met, due to the vacations the moment of parting came. A month during which the distance became the perfect opportunity to get to know each other, to open up to one another.
Then the spark. After a little while Giorgia and Pierpaolo go to live together, facing the first challenges, and experimenting a complete sharing of both spaces and feelings. A six-year-long path which, as with all young people, was lived through highs and lows, but always supported by friends and family.
WEDDING IN MILAN: THE CHOICE OF VILLA BOSSI
In my article about the most evocative wedding locations in Lombardy, I did not have the chance to talk to you about Villa Bossi due to lack of space.
Villa Bossi (in Bodio Lomnago, Varese) has a long history. It was built between the 1500s and the 1700s and it is set in an English-style park with centuries-old trees. It is characterized by decorative frescos and ceiling coffers. It is a classical house in which to get lost among vintage decorations and objects, with its Italian-style garden enclosed by hornbeam hedges, an imposing three-hundred-year-old magnolia and blooming flowers alternating with the passing of the seasons.
It was not by chance that Giorgia and Pierpaolo chose this wonderful location for their civil ceremony and reception. The two said to have never had a doubt: right after getting off the car they were immediately taken by a sweet atmosphere, the scent of home. “We couldn’t wait to be there to celebrate our wedding with our guests”.
The organization was impeccable. The bride had the opportunity to dress in one of the halls given by the management, the ceremony was officiated outdoors, in a wonderful garden. The reception was the occasion for a sensorial journey for the guests, who had the chance to delight their taste thanks to a magnificent catering and to enjoy the view of the wonderful location that combines history and elegance.
THE MOVIE OF THE WEDDING OF GIORGIA AND PIERPAOLO
Every wedding is different because it has different requirements. Each one, however, has something in common: my style. Afterall it is through my style that I get recognized and chosen.
The movie of the wedding in Milan of Pierpaolo and Giorgia was made with the work of two teams of videographers and the maneuvers of a drone through which all moments of that day were caught. Her wait, his wait, the arrival in Villa Bossi, the ritual, the exchange of the rings, the ceremony, but also one element that always accompanies a wedding: the emotions. Those of the couple, of the families, of the friends.

Being a videomaker for weddings in Lombardy has given me unique sensations: meeting two wonderful people, an incredible location and the opportunity to tell it all through my style with the satisfaction of Pierpaolo and Giorgia.
While following them, I left them complete freedom of expression; I underline the fact that during this special occasion, the bride and groom must not be actors, but simply just themselves. The emotions must never be recreated artificially, but naturally caught when they come (and oh do they come!), collected and edited in that magical treasure chest that is the video of a wedding.
